Recipe: Chocolate ice cream

Finally summer has arrived! Summer means a lot of sun and a lot of heat. If it gets a little too hot, it is worth cooling off. How about a creamy chocolate ice cream?

And that's why we have an incredibly delicious chocolate ice cream with dates and cashews for you. All you need is dates, cocoa powder and cashew butter and a good mixer. You can also make the cashew butter yourself, but then it takes longer. In addition, you don't need an ice machine for the ice. It would be easier, but you can get a creamy ice cream even without an ice cream maker.

So, let's go!



• 100g dates
• 30g cocoa powder
• 50g cashew butter
• 150ml water



1. Put all ingredients in the blender and mix until it has a fine consistency.

2. Place in the freezer for approx. 2-3 hours, stirring briefly every 30 minutes. This ensures that the ice cream remains creamy at the end.

If you take the ice cream out of the freezer, it is best to let it stand for another 10 minutes so that it gets a little softer again. Garnish the ice cream with cocoa nibs and / or fresh mint as desired.
